TDS Niobium C1

New Balance Tokyo Design Studio originally introduced the Niobium concept shoe in 2020—a transformable shoe that started as a slip-on mule and could be built up to a waterproof boot. With the Tokyo Design Studio Niobium Concept 1, the design has evolved into a single piece of footwear that transforms across three stages: a waterproof boot, an outdoor mule, and an indoor slipper. Featuring stretch rip-stop material, welded PU overlays, and a zipper down the tongue and around the heel for assembly, this versatile shoe is informed by years of New Balance craftsmanship to deliver exceptional comfort and support for all-day wear throughout the year.
